What to Expect Mosaic Youth has a vision to see youth in the Seattle region encounter Jesus and gain the skills to continue that walk with Jesus into their adult years. One thing we say is that our biggest measure of success is if we continue to see our youth walk with Jesus even after their time with Mosaic Youth is over. We take this responsibility seriously, but we also know that a crucial element to achieving this vision is fun. We believe following Jesus is the greatest adventure in life, and we strive to have our culture reflect that belief. To fulfill this calling, we hold a number of events, which are described below:
Mosaic Youth has a vision to see youth in the Seattle region encounter Jesus and gain the skills to continue that walk with Jesus into their adult years. We take this responsibility seriously, but we also know that a crucial element to achieving this vision is fun. We believe following Jesus is the greatest adventure in life, and we strive to have our culture reflect that belief. To fulfill this calling, we hold a number of events, which are described below:
Youth Night is open to any 6th – 12th graders looking for a fun, safe place to connect with other youth in the Seattle area and learn about Jesus. A typical Youth Night starts with snacks and games to build friendships and teamwork. Then we transition to worship and a time of teaching from the Bible. We end each night with age- and gender-specific small groups to allow youth to ask questions and learn from one another.
Youth Nights are the most consistent and easily accessible opportunity for youth, but we offer more for those looking for additional involvement. We offer D-groups (Discipleship groups) where gender- and age-specific groups gather in homes to learn how the Bible and Jesus are relevant and helpful in navigating everyday life. We also have a Youth Leadership team where youth learn and are given opportunities to serve and develop leadership skills.
Mosaic Youth offers trips for immersive experiences where youth can learn and grow with Jesus. Annually, Mosaic Youth goes on a weekend winter retreat (January or February) and a summer mission trip (July or August). These trips help our youth build genuine friendships with one another and grow closer to Jesus.

Meet our Youth Pastor
Jacob is passionate about seeing middle schoolers and high schools choose to follow Jesus and grow in their relationships with him! Jacob has served in ministry at Mosaic Community Church since 2021. When Jacob is not throwing dodge balls or worshipping with Mosaic Youth, he is eating steak, cracking jokes, riding his bike or cooking for his family. 🚲
